    Lee,

I sent you a Double Duck razor that you have arpened a couple of times.

I sent you a payment through Pay Pal for $21. I think that is the correct price but let me know.

Thanks again and you should my Klass in the next couple of weeks.

How long should a razor hold it’s edge? I know it depends on the person’s beard, mine is average. I was trying to gauge the number of shaves before I send it in. I sent you this one after about 25 shaves. Does that sound about right?

    Thanks man.

25-30 shaves is about the maximum you can expect for a blade to feel “fresh off the hones” sharp. The average person reports 3-6 months. Some people report 12 months. A lot of it is personal preference.

Stropping increases the time a razor stays sharp. The more laps, the longer the time. However, it is a diminishing return. Past 200 laps, it becomes too small to really notice.
