This razor is from around the 1700’s. It is the oldest razor I’ve ever seen in person. The gorgeous ivory scales have survived through the centuries. This razor was given a facelift to bring it back into the 21st century.

Hi, it’s not mentioned, so just in case you didn’t know, those marks on the pile side of the scale indicate that this razor was part of Henry Lummus’ collection. John Barber was in operation from 1810 to 1834. I’d peg this razor around the 1820s-30s
